Wow .. what a Gem !

An overnight stay needed before a uni offer day at Durham., I just wish we could have stayed longer. Clean, comfortable, everything you could possibly need and the views ! Hopefully the uni offer will be accepted and I can stay again for a while longer !

Must check that the kettle in the single room is connected to an extension lead, - not obvious. Bed is super comfy and a good size for a single room. Do it yourself breakfast has good variety and terrific views

Nice gardens and view. Self service breakfast good, rooms are part of a house so noise/privacy is what you would expect if sharing a house. Public areas are very comfortable and generous. Shame that tea/coffee facilities are outside the room so you have to disturb others to have your early morning drink!

Friends weekend away.

Small but very comfortable twin room with ensuite. Loved the big bath sheets. I would have added a second side table and perhaps a chair or luggage stand. Nice lounge/breakfast area, with plenty of fridges to store food/snacks. Comfortable couches and good sized TV. Very close to bus stop and only 10mins to Durham so we were able to just park the cars for the weekend. Hosts were very nice.

Ok place. Breakfast poor, basically cereals and toast. Pastries on offer but stale. Room ok could have been better for the cost. Only saw owner very briefly once as we arrived and a 2 minute conversation this morning before we left. Fabulous views.

Durham visit

Clean, comfortable and lovely views. Room was a bit on the small side and lacking storage space. Lack of privacy due to room layout, but, curtain can be closed in full but this spoils outward view. Shared kitchen has everything you need and available throughout the day. The continental breakfast provided was adequate. Overall we had a lovely stay in nice surroundings but just a little bit pricey for what was on offer.

Lovely place

This is a lovely place - beautiful location, beautifully presented and very relaxed. Each room is en suite and the guests have access to a lounge/diner with use of kitchen I feel very comfortable at My Way - so much so that I’ve been back a few times and will continue to do so when I can.

Parking was a bit tricky as not many spaces and the car park was filled most days. You do hear noises from the owners accommodation above in your room. Excellent breakfast set up with lots of choice.
