"This is a very nice, well stocked bright & spacious basement suite with a walk out with a nice patio area. It was a great location for attending an event in Brag Creek. Would be great to come back to go to Calaway Park, which is very close. The host was responsive & accommodating. Note: the beds are firm, which is our preference."

"This is one of the best finds. A new condo in a new neighborhood with shops within walking distance. Close to the highway so makes the trip to Banff, Lake Louise, Icefield Parkway and other attractions seem short. Also a quick drive to Downtown so gives you the best of both worlds. Highly recommend this place."

"Verna, the host, is a very kind and welcoming person. The house is located in a very nice area with a view to the river and a natural park. Perfect for nature lovers or those who like to have a daily walk. It is a very central neighborhood with easy access to downtown and major areas. The room was very cozy and big enough. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and the property is very-well maintained. The bed was excellent and everything in the room and shared areas worked. I love the breakfast Verna prepares herself. I would definitely stay at Verna’s home again."

"First there are more rooms than parking spots so someone will need to park on the streets. I reached out to the hose about street parking rules but the host never replied back. The place needs alot of maintenance. The floor was broken in the bathroom, and I stubbed my toes. The tiles were also cracked. The room was also extremely cold. There were space heater in the room but it was really noisy and did not work well. Lastly, the host needs to significantly improve their communication. The entire street that the hotel was on was closed due to the Calgary marathon the next day. I only found out at 6 in the morning because I went out to my car and saw people blocking the street for the marathon. I had to rush and pack up my things in the early dawn to get out of the street before it was completely closed off. I was lucky and was able to make it out but I would imagine some guests were stuck in the hotel for hours because the police officer told me that cars were off limits once the marathoners were nearby. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would strongly suggest that anyone planning to reserve this place rethink their decision."
