"It was better than we expected. We stayed for 2 nights. Bed was so comfortable, room was clean/ well maintained. No disturbance at all pretty traffic-free and quiet Spot. As it’s in Small town everything is close-by Tim hortons/gas station is right next to the hotel. Great location for travelling further down to The Rocky Mountains only 1 hour drive to Kananaskis and Canmore ."

What a gorgeous location… sunrise and sunsets were amazing and it was such a nice spot to spend the weekend after flying into Calgary and before heading to Banff! "A perfect house for a weekend away with 7 ladies. We had plenty of space, lots of kitchen amenities and a beautiful setting. Anita was super quick to respond to messages. The home was super cool with loads of books, neat artwork and plenty of character. Just minutes from Cochrane but felt like we were away in nature."

"Beautiful property with picturesque views. Listed as advertised, could have added a couple more pictures to include the hot tub and murphy bed. Had some issues with the stove, fridge was making odd sounds & woke up the house. Mostly things that need some upkeep. Property would be glorious with some necessary repairs and maintenance. Overall great time. Quiet. Just would like more communication with the owners. They did not reply to messages or calls and check-in was easy but not well communicated."

"The location was ideal for our get-together and we really enjoyed our stay. The covered deck off the main living area is a real bonus. The host was responsive and helpful, and everything in the listing was accurate — having the river that close made the stay incredibly memorable.One note on check-in: there's no cell service at the front gate. We ended up walking down to the house to piggyback off the Wi-Fi. I'd suggest confirming check-in details with the host before you drive up.Clean and tidy, with lots of little areas around the house where you could get some time to yourself while everyone was still visiting together. Would highly recommend this spot."
