"It was exactly what I expected out of an older hotel but better. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable and the lounge/restaurant and liquor store all included were just a bonus. If you don’t want to spend a ton of money but want all the basics and then some, I’d recommend."

"The main part of the house was absolutely beautiful. And accurately described. The owners were VERY responsive and accommodating. They even did a little shopping for us the day before we came in. However we were a little underwhelmed with the downstairs bedrooms. When you walk into the house you are walking into one of the bedrooms (no privacy). The other bedroom with the two full beds and a single bed were situated in what I would call a “screened in porch”, pretty much outside. Other than that it was a wonderful place, very spacious, well kept and clean. I would stay again."

"Property was in a newer area with very little street parking. There was a hot tub on the property but I don't know if it was available to guests. Quiet location, however, when people entered the upstairs unit, loud footsteps and voices woke me and kept me awake for awhile. I like that it had a small fridge, coffee pot and microwave. The owners should defrost the small freezer though."

"Highly recommend this place! Warm welcome, very clean, had a great nights sleep followed by an excellent breakfast. Just a warning to anybody that struggles with climbing stairs, there are a lot of steps. but if that's not a problem for you I would definitely recommend it!"

"Decided on this property as the price was more manageable than Banff town or Canmore. Cochrane is a cute, small town about 40 min from downtown Calgary and 1.5hrs from Banff/Cannmore. Property was clean and hosts were kind. Only downside is the sound bleed from upstairs—the patter of cats & noise from humans/vaccuums—likely unavoidable given construction of the house. This made it tricky to fall asleep at the start of each night, but eventually the house became quiet. Hosts are really nice and provided a Discovery Pass for the parks."
