"The room is neat with thoughtful furnishings. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The hotel is easily accessible by tube and the neighbourhood is pleasant and safe."
"The pictures of this property are very misleading. The check in process was not clear and there is no one on the property to answer questions and no contact info.
Our room had things left from other guests and trash left behind. There were no blinds on the windows, which made sleep nearly impossible. The "free breakfast" was stale cereal, or so I'm guessing because, again, literally no one to ask. "

"Great area, and hôtel is reasonably priced. However some updating is needed and our bed was old and not particularly comfortable.
We would return though"
"Tiny, but packs a punch! Super clean, lovely decor, finishes and materials. Ultra modern light switches and mood lighting. Comfortable bed and decent pillows."
"- Staffs are nice and very professional.
- Housekeeping staff clean the room everyday.
- There is a Tesco and Train station near by.
- we requested for early check-in and when we reached room was ready. "
"I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely return in the future. Very close to various restaurants, bus stop and tube. Only downside to the property is that it doesn't have a lift so you'll have to carry those bags upstairs, but other than that awesome property and staff."
"Contrary to some reviews we found the Merit Kensington to be absolutely fine. I have no negative feedback at all. The rooms were clean and tea/coffee and toiletries replenished every day. All the staff were very friendly from housekeeping to reception and the breakfast room . Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is very close to Earls Courttube and it’s very easy to get around fro m there . The £100 security deposit was never actually taken from my bank,it was just pending all week and was cancelled on Friday as soon as we checked out. Would definitely recommend and stay again "
"Great location in London. Close to the underground, grocery stores and restaurants. Staff is very friendly. Building and area had security. Breakfast buffet was great with vegan options."
