"Nice kitchenette setup in room for coffee/tea and cereal. Milk/yougurt/fruit cups in minibar fridge. As someone with Celiac Disease, provided gluten free cereal and bread which was awesome! Then there is a shared kitchen for the 3 units where there is a fridge/freezer with supplies for breakfast plus a hob and pans if you want to cook your own meal. Sink and dishclothes provided too! Bed is AWESOME! So tired of softbeds in hotels and this one is just perfect! After 4 weeks on a soft bed on a cruise ship and back issues, I finally slept through the night! Very nicely laid out room and comfortable for 2 people. There is a space heater too if needed - a little chilly right now at night so it was a nice feature! Very clean room and plenty of extra blankets too! Nice balcony to have morning tea on if not raining! Thanks for the relaxing stay!"

"Exceptional value. Loved our stay at The Dunes Kangaroo Island. The house feels newly built—airy, generous spaces, high ceilings, and big windows that bring in soft coastal light. Beds are superb, showers have great pressure, and the kitchen has everything. Outdoor deck + lounge were our favourite spots for sunrise and evenings, and we saw kangaroos in the early morning (around 7.30 am). Everything is spotless and clearly well cared for—truly worth more than its price. A small request for future guests: please treat the house with the same care—tidiness as you go, so everyone can enjoy it at its best."

"KI Star was a fabulous place to stay on Kangaroo Island. The house was so well appointed, with an incredible sea view. We found this location to be suitable for our group (all adults), and gave us a great base to see so many parts of the island. We were surrounded by wildlife, with so many different animals passing by the deck area each day.Thank you to Angie for her great communication before and after our visit. "
