"Forrest apartments were very handy to key things like Parliament House and the National Gallery. It was relatively close to Manuka shops and restaurants which had lots of options. Parking was very convenient. Our ground floor unit in Blandford Court was ideal for us including my disabled brother."

"This hotel has been our go to in Canberra for years because they have an indoor pool that the kids love. However recently they seem to be neglecting their facilities. They have closed the sauna for "safety" reasons. Which is highly disappointing given that a sauna is big draw car for a Canberra hotel, especially in the winter months as a stopover on the way to the snow. The pool was not well heated. The hot tub was not hot enough and was not even full - it was about half full. The kitchen staff are surprisingly unknowledgeable about their own products. A family member has a peanut allergy and one of the kitchen staff claimed that they did in fact use peanuts, including to sprinkle them over the pasties of a morning. Upon further interrogation at breakfast the next morning, we discovered this was actually not accurate and the kitchen did not use peanuts. The food is very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However the rest of experience is currently on the decline. They could use some additional investment in their facilities."

"The toilet was not properly cleaned……behind the toilet seat in full view….wasn’t searching…..looked like it had missed a few rounds. First thing I saw in the toilet was a pubic hair. Was in tower two the week before, definitely felt cleaner, better, slept better…."

"As there were a lot of guests on Sunday, the buffet breakfast hot dishes were cold and there were a lack of staff cleaning tables and making coffee. Seemed disorganised. The following breakfast was better with warner food and not so busy. The room was satisfactory, but shower did not drain very well as it made the whole bath room floor wet."

"Had to park in the “strictly no hotel guests” car park as there wasn’t enough spots in the allocated section. Had to walk over the road to an adjacent hotel for the breakfast every morning. Bedroom was very small, a bit Japanese-esk but Apart from that the bed was the most comfiest I have ever slept on. "

"Parking is secure and plenty of it. Staff are wonderful and the property is 5 star all the way. The apartments are spacious, well equipped and set in a beautiful location "

"Always lovely to stay here. Charming. Wear and tear are starting to show a little. The staff are very efficient but can do with a bit of smile and warmth towards guests. Will stay again and recommend it. "
