Beresford House - a self catering house that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

This exceptionally well refurbished 4-bed house sits right in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea, with off road parking, convenient for the shops, harbour and coast. The spacious interior is all beautifully furnished & fitted to a very high standard and the ground floor comprises an open plan living dining kitchen area, with a very well equipped kitchen, and a lovely flow between the downstairs and the outdoor space. There are two separate sitting areas, both with TVs and log burners, and an 'off the beach' utility room with shower, washing machine and tumble dryer, plus ample space to dry wet clothes and store beach gear.

The upstairs boasts 2 en suite double bedrooms, both with rainwater showers, a further queen sized room and a bunk room for two smaller guests. There is also a spacious family bathroom. Outside, there is a lovely secure, walled garden that is a sun trap during the day, large outdoor table that seats 8, perfect for all fresco dining on a warm summer's day, and a charcoal BBQ. Bikes can be stored under cover in garden.

One well-behaved dog allowed.

Fabulous house, great location with 'French farmhouse' feel outdoor dining option. Highly recommend!

What a gorgeous place to stay! The house is beautifully fitted out and feels comfortably luxurious. You feel like you're in a hotel, but with all the advantages of self-catering. It's a fantastic location too - just a short stroll down to the lovely harbour front and town, yet it's incredibly peaceful and quiet at night., so we slept really well. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There are two gorgeous sitting rooms, and we also loved sitting outside to eat in the walled garden. Stunning!

Beautiful house, great location.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is impeccably finished - fixtures and fittings are all high end; the attention to detail is remarkable. There is plenty of space within the house and there is a lovely courtyard garden with outdoor dining space should the weather behave. The location is perfect - in a quiet cul-de-sac but just a minute walk from the front at Wells-next-the- Sea with its great range of cafes and restaurants. A minute or two in the other direction and there is a small store and the green where you can find a couple of good pubs. There are lots of independent shops to browse and an arts centre with a cinema.The house was a perfect base from which to explore the North Norfolk coastline.Holkham beach and Holkham Hall are easily walkable, with Burnham Overy a little further if you want to extend your walk. I loved staying in this house - it felt like home except cleaner, tidier and everything worked properly. Would absolutely recommend it and hope to return.
