Walton Hall. The original Walton Hall dates back to the 1500s as the family seat of the Morduant Family. The current building, seen here across one of the lakes formed in the River Dene, was rebuilt in 1862 to a design by Sir Gilbert Scott at the commission of Sir Charles Morduant, the 10th Baronet. "I went with my adult daughter and we had a fabulous room. This was perfect as we had two rooms and two beds (one was a sofa bed). Really enjoyed the spa. Staff were friendly and professional. What a great weekend. Location is handy for Stratford and we got Ubers to and from Stratford so we weren't bothered about parking."

"The room and bed linen were spotlessly clean. There was a cosy lounge in which to enjoy a drink, and a choice of Bistro or Pub for food, both of which offered good deals, and the staff at reception were polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is in a good location by the River Avon, with ample parking at discounted rates for guests. The town centre with its many attractions is only a 10 minute walk across the footbridge. We would stay there again."
