"Unfortunately, the property was undergoing pretty significant renovations to the lobby during our stay which also affected one of the main restaurants on site. This was not disclosed during booking nor prior to arrival. There was a maze to get to your room from the makeshift lobby and the pool. Food service and the pool bar closed at 5 pm leaving the only other option onsite a very small dining room with no view. The property has a great pool and sits on the ocean and it could not be fully enjoyed. The room was missing basic items like plastic cups, pen and paper, etc that you find at all other hotels and especially resorts. Room was full of items even after the renovation that were overlooked which was very disappointing. Stones in the walkways and outside were cracked and missing pieces. We understand guests are hard on these places, but it could have been better maintained. Initially the front staff at check in seemed like they did not want to be bothered by anyone and were frustrated in having to explain again what was going on at the hotel. I totally get this, which is why they should have communicated it before arrival. The bellhops were super friendly and very kind. The pool is what you come here for, but even then there is trash in the sandy area where the little kids play. We came here 15 years ago and wanted to enjoy it again. Unfortunately, it did not live up what it was back then and we won’t be back. "

"Beach view is unobstructed and fantastic. The staff is very friendly. The shower dripped continuously, the elevator stopped working during our stay, and the toilet handle needed some jiggling."

"Very nice hotel. Everything is great except the restaurant and bar hours don’t go late (close at 9pm) and the rooms were pretty muggy. My clothing felt damp even with the AC on and doors closed. Would recommend bringing some laundry moisture absorbing sacks. Valet parking was super easy and convenient. "

"This place was perfect for our family. There is a huge pool and hot tubs and it's right on the ocean. It's right across the street from Safeway and also next to an ice cream shop! Super convenient location and it's so nice to have a full kitchen in the room. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were super clean. We will definitely stay here again."
