The room is comfortable with a touch of luxury (Gosfield). The food in the restaurant is of a high standard. This really is a gem within the beautiful village of Great Yeldham "

"This is a great hotel for a short stay in Colchester. A very good breakfast, large rooms, and the location is great if you want to explore Colchester (right by the castle and park). "

"Breakfast was great and room was fine but the noise was terrible. Incredibly loud music right underneath the room until gone 11pm. Expensive concert considering that but might be better if you avoid Friday nights. "
