"It’s a holiday inn next to a garage with a Waitrose. It’s a fairly nice one tho. Lovely reception / dining area. Bathrooms superb. Tv a little old but ok. Heating not working but had an electric oil radiator. Food fairly poor and very expensive like similar holiday inns. Breakfast was ok. I’d stay here again tho if necessary."

"We loved this traditional old style hotel and the staff. However dinner was a little bit of a let down I had scallops which were cooked well a served beautifully my wife had a seafood cocktail straight out of the 70,s unfortunately! Followed by a line caught tuna salad , line caught in a tin ! I had venison steak which was cooked very well but served with shop bought skin on fries . The price we paid I would have expected better very disappointed Breakfast was lovely"
