"The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The only thing we did not like was the cost of the transfer from the airport to the property. If you stay at the property they should provide the transfers. Also, we did not like how when we arrived they tried to get us to go and listen about a timeshare to get deals for things on the resort. Lastly, the mosquitos were extremely bad! Other than that the resort was gorgeous, clean, quiet, and relaxing. The food was good and Arturo was amazing!"

"Overall, we had a good stay at Hotel Kanan, and our room was absolutely amazing. However, the hotel itself felt a bit neglected and could definitely use some maintenance and extra attention. I understand that tourism may be slower right now, but I actually think this is the perfect opportunity to take care of the property and make improvements. One of our biggest disappointments was the beach. I completely understand that sargassum is a natural issue and difficult to control. However, there is a difference between dealing with seaweed and simply not maintaining the beach. We noticed trash sitting in the same spots for several days, and while neighboring hotels were actively cleaning up the seaweed and keeping their beaches tidy, here it seemed to be simply ignored or worked around. Breakfast was another disappointment. The options were underwhelming, and the food was quite bland and lacked flavor. It's a shame because the hotel has so much potential, and our room was truly wonderful. With better maintenance, more attention to cleanliness, and improvements to the breakfast, this could be a fantastic place to stay."

"An unforgettable stay in Tulum! Nestled on the jungle side and just steps from the beach, this hotel offers the perfect blend of nature and comfort. The two stunning natural cenotes on the property are truly magical, and the overall vibe feels authentic, peaceful, and beautifully connected to the surroundings. Sunrise and sunset here are absolutely breathtaking and not to be missed. The service was exceptional, with a team that was genuinely attentive and always ready to help. We also dined at the sushi restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. A perfect place to relax, reconnect with nature, and experience the beauty of Tulum. Highly recommended!"
