"I visit Istanbul every other month and usually stay at the Mandarin, Four Seasons, or the St Regis in Istanbul. I will now be a frequent visitor for the Fairmont. The hotel cleanliness, the staff, the amenities, everything is exceptional. They even note down your preference from other locations when it comes to beverages, etc. I would love to shoutout the man who checked me in, I forgot his name, but he ensured I had an amazing stay. "The staff members at this hotel were extremely friendly and service-oriented. Specifically, Kendal was fantastic during check-in when I arrived at 3:30 am! I had two different room reservations on different days, and he made sure that I wouldn't have to check out of one room and check into another one in the middle of my stay by upgrading me to a room that was available on all six days of my stay. The checkout was just as smooth due to the team of Mazlum, Berkay and Birol. They called a taxi for me and checked me out in less than 5 mins. The hotel itself was super clean and very quiet - great for a good night's sleep. To my pleasant surprise, the room had a fridge, freezer microwave and a cooktop with all pans and other cooking implements. I can see how families would love this, especially since the Axis mall with its grocery store is about a 1 km walk. The only downside is that restaurants are 1 - 2 km away, and the hotel breakfast starts at 8 am - a bit late if you want to get an early start to your day. So plan on making your own breakfast if you are an early bird. But overall, this is a real gem of a hotel at a very affordable price. If I was in the area, I would definitely stay here again."
