There’s also a gorgeous little takeaway tortilla place around the corner on the way which is some of the best we had, a great start to the day when it opens at 10am"

Definitely use the secret lift door or public lift next to it, takes you from old town / beach level up to reception. Roof terrace bar fabulous views and friendly informal service, rooftop pool popular but great to chill for couple of hours and the lower level spa was perfect when it was drizzly one afternoon. Would highly recommend hotel and would use again if coming back to San Sebastián"

"We loved our stay here. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful — we could even occasionally hear the donkey nearby. Our room was very spacious (room 203), had a like balcony, spotlessly clean and well maintained, with two single beds and a double sofa bed. Having air conditioning was also a big plus. Parking was easy and we never had trouble finding a space. The location is excellent, only about 15 minutes by car from San Sebastián and a great base for exploring northern Spain, from Bilbao all the way towards the French border. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also decided to have breakfast at the hotel, which at €9 per person was very good value. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back."
