"We love Talbingo and go regularly, and our stay this time in this little retro cottage was great. It's not fancy but more importantly it was clean and tidy, and the linen on the beds was nice and crisp. The kitchen was equipped with lots of new pots and pans which was nice, and the bathroom looks like its had a bit of a makeover compared to the photos online. We loved how well the backyard was enclosed and our dogs loved running around in the grass. The BBQ was dirty when we went to use it, but we gave it a good clean and enjoyed having some cook ups for brekkie and dinner... we did clean it afterwards too for the next people. Eating at the outside table was a bonus, its so peaceful and no humidity. The check in process was made super easy by David and Hilary. Netflix was a bonus for the evenings. We're glad that we got to stay at Pether Cottage and would love to stay again."

"Tumbarumba is an up and coming destination and accommodation is in demand SO book ahead. The Union hotel has fantastic pub meals and great staff. The hotel has been partially renovated. At the moment rooms are in need of an update in decor but this will happen soon as management appears to have clear plans for the future. Good value country hospitably. "
