"Torakina"4 Pether St Talbingo

"Torakina" is a family friendly house so if you are looking for some were to have a party this is not the house for you. If you have a party or cause enough noise to disturb the neighbours you will forfeit your bond and risk being evicted.
"Torakina" is situated at the higher end of town the red brick house has a special character. You have views of the surrounding mountains from the comfort of the meals room and from the patio . There is a park for the kids to play in just across the street.
As most of Talbingo it is not far to the Shop , the Service Station or Talbingo Country Club and Golf course.
The house is fitted with Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning Electrical wall heater electric blankets and ceiling fans .
The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with 2 single beds .

We enjoyed our stay in Talbingo, and particularly the views from the house, of mountains and this weekend's approaching storms. This was fortunate for weather prediction, in the absence of any wifi, and given the very intermittent, and weak phone reception.

We enjoyed our stay at Talbingo with extended family. The property was the perfect size with plenty of room and convenience for catching up with family. The property was clean and had plenty of amenities and very well priced. Very quick response to questions from owner which made the process very easy. Will stay again.

Nestled in beautiful talbingo, this quiet town offers a restful relaxed stay, which was matched by a very clean roomy and comfortable abode.

Brilliant
Fantastic place to stay, slept 2 families of 4, so warm and with everything we needed will definitely will stay again. Such a beautiful view of the mountains from the dining room. Park across the road for kids with kangroos and the very vain peacocks checking themselves out in their reflection of our cars. Came for the snow, with Selwyn closed we found some beauties amongst the village, it was a little challenging with no internet (only Telstra towers) but the cafe gave some very invaluable information on what we can find around the town. Yarrangobilly caves with the thermal pools, mountain bike technical track, the beach at Talbingo reserve and some great fishing along the rivers. ♡

Enjoyable stay
We had an enjoyable, comfortable stay at Robert’s property. The location was excellent, with views of the the mountain surrounds and park across the road, frequented by kangaroos, king parrots and, strangely, a peacock?? There was plenty of space and bedding. We only used two out of the four bedrooms. Heating was also excellent throughout the house. Probably wouldn’t recommend for two families, even though bedding would be sufficient as the lounge/TV area is fairly small with only one 3 person lounge. Those who like a soft mattress will be pleased. WiFi was also not provided, and reception was poor. This made online access quite challenging, especially if you are not with Telstra as we were. We’d definitely be happy to stay again as it’s a beautiful part of Australia and a great base for heading to Mt Selwyn snowfields or Yarrangobilly caves. Overall, we were happy with the cleanliness and condition of the property and appliances provided.
