"We wish we stayed for longer! The park facilities for young kids were fantastic! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The added bonus was that we could stay after checkout in the huge kids adventure playground, this helped to tire them out before the next drive. The classic cabins are really nice and new. "In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!"
