Location was perfect for the Nippori station (Keisei Skyliner for Narita airport and JR lines were a 12 min walk and Sendagi station was very close by for local trains as well)

The staff is really nice and the place is super pretty! If i had to say something "bad" about my experience there, it would be that the Wi-Fi isnt the best.

Nice place, inexpensive hotel in an otherwise pricey area. Gender neutral shower area, but there are several showers with private, lockable rooms (2x4 feet) just outside of the shower itself (shower door is also lockable). Showers were kept tidy, and full bottles of body soap and shampoo were available in each shower unit. Bathrooms were also shared but were gendered, and also kept tidy. Staff gave us options for western style (bed frames) versus traditional (futon on ground) but the "western style" just had the same futons but on the bed frames. Not a deal breaker for me but I could see a typical westerner being unhappy about it. Staff was very nice and friendly, and they held our luggage for us after check out since our flight was later in the day and we were able to explore. Tied to a 24 hour cafe downstairs and they have a coin laundry attached. There is a small playground (metal slide and 2 swings) right out front of the hotel/cafe doors.

Close to the subway. There are convenient stores and restos nearby. Free bread, spread, coffee and soup for breakfast. Can buy ready to use unlimited subway pass from the reception.

The people are friendly and the location is great. The beds were generally soft too! However, a few downsides were the smell in the elevator and room as well as the share bathrooms.

Great food, and a good night's sleep
We had a great time the night we stayed. The hotel clerk, Kenta, was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to help us. Such a great guy! We ate 3 meals in the hotel restaurant. Both meals that we paid for we're excellent and the kitchen staff did a great job! The complimentary breakfast was basic, but good! Hotel is located a short distance from the train station in a quiet little neighborhood. Loved the area too.

I loved the location next to the traditional Yanaka shopping street, the property has everything one might need for a short stay in Tokyo.

Un hotel/hostel hermoso. Lleno de buena energia y excelente atencion. Este hermoso hostel nos acogio despues que una guest house que tenia excelente reputacion fue una pesadilla por ser sucio y gente gritando hasta las 3 am. En cambio Sakura es un lugar tranquilo, juvenil, la gente es respetuosa y la ubicacion es muy conveniente, a 3 paradas de tren/subte. Realmente recomiendo!!!!!

Quiet and relaxing
Quiet and relaxing room. We loved that they offered to keep our luggage after checkout because we still had several hours before needing to go to the airport. The staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms are minimal, but perfect for quick stays.

Budget hotel. It's good for groups of friends. It's our first time to stay in this kind of hotel where we have to share bathrooms but we managed.

Great value!
We enjoyed meeting people from all over the world! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food in the 24 hour cafe was great and a good price. The laundry room was convenient and also open 24 hours. Detergent provided. The elevator broke down on the last night of our stay and it was fixed by morning when we needed to take our luggage down.

Coming back.
I would definitely stay again and I’m planning to. Bargain stay in a very convenient and nice area. Slept on tatami mats, shared bathroom, laundry... so easy for a week with kids in Tokyo! Breakfast not worth it but lots of other places to eat. Not luxury but everything you need. Local area is perfect to experience traditional Tokyo. Easy day trip out to Disney and other areas. Playground for tiny kids across sweet little road. I loved this place.

We used Sakura Hotel as our home base while we explored Tokyo for 10 days! The cafe always had a friendly atmosphere and the staff were very kind and helpful. Whether we got back late or early, we could always mingle with other travelers in the cafe lounge and play games over some drinks. By far the best hotel choice when looking for a place to stay in Tokyo!

We stayed at the Sakura Hotel Nippori on our first night in Japan. It was easy to find, so closely located to the Nippori Station. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Having a cafe on-site and opened late (and early) was very convenient. The room and other amenities were clean. We would happily stay in this hotel again.
