"My very large room was spotlessly clean and the carpet looked new. I had two good nights sleep. Window had opaque glass and when I opened it there was a small yard but I wasn't there for the view so it wasn't important. I was really pleased it was an 'accessible' room as I recently had a hip replacement so rhe wet room and rails were ideal for me. TV didnt work in room but a complimentary G&T instead was fine. Watched TV in lounge area instead. Staff couldn't be more helpful. especially James...

"Great little place to stay. There was free parking on the road opposite which was handy. The room was very clean, and the owners were friendly. Check-in was easy and quick. For the price, I would definitely stay here again. It also had a air-conditioning unit/heater as in the photo which I appreciated."

"A lovely sprawled out estate with plenty of amenities. The room was very nice with 2 fridges which was a bonus. It was tastefully decorated and pleasant to be in. I used the gym for a decent workout and had a great shower afterwards. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with lots of options available. Parking was ample. The stay provided great value for money with this being the second De Vere hotel I have stayed at."

"The hotel was ideal for the one night stay we needed prior to attending a funeral locally. The staff at check in/out were professional, polite and friendly. "The property is small and cozy as described, facilities are tidy and clean. We couldn’t receive the check-in instructions until we call at check-in time, the problem is solved quickly. A reminder that the toilet door is a reused old front door, that means when you lock it, you should lift the handle up first and then turn the button. "Got there a bit early to check in, so headed into London before checking in. Decided to watch a show and checked everything except for when the pub closed. During the interval I called the hotel to say I’d be 30 mins late, they said someone would wait up for us. Got there 30 minutes after closing and the staff member was waiting at the bar for us! Excellent service, above and beyond!"
