"I would mot recommend this accommodation. The location is great, but it is barely enough equipped, not very clean, and there is no other way than to disturb the host to get in the house every time you come in. "The house was great and in perfect condition. Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful. Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it. "

"It was interesting staying in a Japanese house. Really enjoyed that. However the location was not practical sunce we had to taxi to Gion. I was unable to enjoy the beautiful bath since the water was only lukewarm and I tried many times and yes, I pressed the water red button as instructed"

"This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. I'd give it 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the original room, but how the staff reacted to the issue was exceptional!"
