"The hotel itself is very modern and located very centrally. However the walls are paper thin which makes for an extremely noisy stay. They also make you leave a 50RM deposit which is very annoying as i was flying to Singapore after my stay resulting in having a 50RM note in my wallet on the way to the airport. "

"Beautiful clean hotel - lovely design and furniture throughout. Very large rooms, ok breakfast. Liked that bottled water was provided and water plentiful around the hotel. Afternoon tea was a nice treat in the afternoons. Great location - easy to walk everywhere. Only complaints would be the room always smelt musky - like it needed fresh air. "This is a very good hotel well located in the heart of Georgetown, close to all the sites. We did not find it noisy as some have commented. It is a heritage property which has its great charms and also some limitations. The rooms are comfortable with air-conditioning, but quite small. There is a very welcome pool. And the restaurant provides a decent breakfast. There are not many places to sit together as a family in the evenings, as the pool area is locked at 7pm."
