"On our first trip to Japan, we were not sure what to expect, but Wat Hotel was an incredible experience. We came to the exceptionally clean and classy establishment and greeted by the jovial staff member Riko M. Despite how busy it was, she made sure we were well taken care of and made navigating the system easy especially with her great English skills. She had no trouble making us feel welcome in an unfamiliar area. The breakfast had a wide variety and even had several staff members keeping everything in order to make it a smooth dining experience. We would easily visit again during our next stay in Takayama and also recommend Wat Hotel to friends and family. "

The hotel is conveniently located near the train and bus station and old town shopping area, is brand new with a laundry room and lockers, offers excellent service, and has spacious rooms.
