"The place is wonderful and is set up so you can have a much fun even if it is raining which is important as this area gets more rain then any other part of Australia. You can BBQ indoors or play billiards, darts or swim. I regret not having young kids to run around the beautiful huge lawns. I loved hand feeding some of the Kookaburras."

The furniture and furnishings are beautiful and make the place feel so comfortable. We had everything we needed. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. We will come again next year!"

"We did not stay in the house at Hat Head. We opened the door, walked through. It smelt bad, the appliances and furniture were ancient and smelly. We closed the door and went elsewhere. Do not recommend."

"The property was clean, apart from the chocolate wrappers under the main bed, no fan in the second bedroom which was very warm. Second bathroom could really do with a permanent shower head which would not be that hard to install. Also air conditioning for the humid weather in the area would not go astray. There were far too many keys (12) for a property that only needed 4. It was like trying for a treasure chest competition to get in."
