"We had a wonderful stay at the Old Fleece. The Studio apartment was lovely, spacious and had everything you could need for a few days away. A fantastic small kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and induction hob.
The staff were wonderful, happy to help in any way. We will definitely visit again."

Had reached out prior to staying to ask if I could leave my luggage and had no response so losing one star because of that but their communication with access etc was top. Thank you and apologies for the duvet stains - my leg got stung my nettles/ branches and unfortunately started bleeding without me realising until morning "
"A very special weekend made even better by the Stroud. A free upgrade to their best room made us feel like VIPs and a late check out too! The room was amazing, spacious, with a bathtub and separate shower room. The bed was big and comfy. The hotel made sure our room had a fan on this particularly hot weekend, drawing the curtains to try and keep it cool. Although you are next to the station and above the outside drinks area, we rarely heard anything. No trouble sleeping!
Only thoughts would be a mini fridge in the room to keep our drinks cold and having to go to the bar to find reception staff due to their split roles. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Star Inn. The hospitality staff were beyond hospitable-Very attentive to us. We could have used a fan as it was warm but other than that very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The dinner menu of Greek food is very nice and of all the full English breakfasts we had on our Cotswold tour this was stood out to us and the absolute best one. There’s a lovely outdoor area for drinks or nibbles and a wonderful crowd of friendly locals. We loved it!"

It was the perfect base for our group of 9, offering plenty of space and everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.The highlight was undoubtedly the stunning views across the rolling hills, complete with horses and cows grazing in the distance — a truly picturesque setting that gave us exactly the rural charm we were hoping for. The house was well-equipped and ideal for spending quality time together as a family.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a scenic, spacious, and welcoming countryside getaway."
