"We had a wonderful stay at the Old Fleece. The Studio apartment was lovely, spacious and had everything you could need for a few days away. A fantastic small kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and induction hob.
The staff were wonderful, happy to help in any way. We will definitely visit again."

"The staff were very accommodating, the room was as shown on the website. The bar/restaurant was nicely appointed and had a very nice vibe, we didn't eat a meal but had coffee and dessert. The only thing we didn't like was that the floor sloped in our room, making the head of the bed lower than the foot, which was not comfortable; raising the headboard end of the bed would fix this problem easily."

"Fantastic place to stay!
Greeted by a couple of really nice chaps at Reception, unexpected upgrade from a Comfort Double to Junior Suite.
The room was very nice and spacious! Plenty of plugs and ports to charge at convenient places.
Coffee machine and fruit teas were a welcome bonus.
There was a fan in the room as there is no aircon.
I have 2 suggestions to make the room better. First that as the shower is over the bath, a handle to support in and out given how slippery it is.
Second, the windows rattle whilst open, something to stop that so the windows can be open at night without being a distraction would really make this place!"
"The Bell Inn was absolutely lovely. Our room was small but clean, comfortable and charming. But the real star of the stay was the restaurant itself— the food was excellent. The owners, Mark and Sarah, were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here!"

"We travelled from overseas looking for a peaceful countryside experience, and this property exceeded all expectations. It was the perfect base for our group of 9, offering plenty of space and everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The highlight was undoubtedly the stunning views across the rolling hills, complete with horses and cows grazing in the distance — a truly picturesque setting that gave us exactly the rural charm we were hoping for. The house was well-equipped and ideal for spending quality time together as a family.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a scenic, spacious, and welcoming countryside getaway."
"My husband and I stayed at the Mill House Cottage for 3 nights. When I booked the cottage I had great communication via Expedia and was informed that 24 hours prior to check in I would receive check in instructions by email but I never did. I finally called them directly at which point the representative emailed the instructions to me with a google maps link to the property location since the homes do not have street numbers in that area. The google map link took us to a location about a mile from the cottage but we drove around and eventually found it.The parking is very tight & in front of the only door to the cottage. there were issues that made our stay unpleasant: the hot water tank is in the bedroom near the foot of the bed. It beeps, turns on a blue light, and flushes periodically throughout the day and night and woke us up repeatedly every night as the cottage is otherwise completely quiet. Additionally the fire alarm above the bed has a light that flashes continually which isn’t noticeable until one is in the dark. In the bathroom there is only a tub, no shower, and there was no towel bar or hooks for the bath towels, only one short bar for the two hand towels. There was no tub mat or bath mat and both floor and tub were very slippery when wet. Lastly, per instructions we took the garbage to the outside bins upon departure but found them overflowing with no room for much more. We cannot recommend due to lack of local management to assist with these types of issues."
