"So much more than we had hoped for. It’s not a surprise it’s a 10/10 listing. Lynda and Paul have created a beautiful self contained guest house with all amenities carefully considered and curated. My kids (3 & 5) LOVED being surrounded in the country with the sheep and their lambs, with the ability to bottle feed a few of them. They can not stop talking about it. We are looking forward to coming back again. Hop tips; - follow Lynda’s check in directions, not Google maps- minimal shops nearby....

"We used this house as a base for our trip to Wombeyan caves and it was perfect! Lovely, bright, clean, big back yard with play equipment and trampoline for the kids and the pantry was stocked with the basic supplies we needed. It was also in great location in Taralga, near the Argyle Inn where we had the best dining experience. Overall we were very impressed with everything in Taralga, the house, the lovely quaint streets, the food, the coffee. Highly recommend!"

"The host was very kind and showed us how to use the generator. Some may be bothered by the noise of the generator. There was no signal (Optus) and no WiFi, so I enjoyed living completely disconnected."

"We had a wonderful three-night stay. The cottage was the perfect bush getaway, with a tranquil setting surrounded by nature. Each morning we woke to birds calling, and seeing kangaroos roaming nearby was a real highlight. The property was very clean and well equipped. Katie went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A very relaxing and memorable stay."

"No. 52 Orchard Street ("The Bank") is a few minutes walk to the Corner Store, local coffee shop, Art Gallery etc. and also to the Argyle Inn. Opposite is a park that offers great fun equipment for the kids and also adults to do a little work out! The house is kept warm with heaters and a fire place - very comfortable with clean modern bathrooms. Out of every window there is a pretty view. A great place for a couple of days in the country."
