"Small beach style chalet that we used for a week. Clean and in a good state of upkeep it is in a good location to explore both North Cornwall and North Devon. Very good communication with the host and a smooth check in and out process. The chalet comes with passes for the swimming pool / leisure centre on site (should it not be beach weather) plus there is a bar you can utilise with regular entertainment. "The Seagate was on the estuary in lovely Appledore. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed here before and after a trip to Lundy. The first night was in room7 which was spacious and you could just about see the sea. The second night in room 9 which had a completely frosted window and was small. The pub food was good. I particularly liked the ceasar salad . Would return."

"Room 220 was excellent. With a truly world call view of the coast, sea and Arthur’s Castle. We couldn’t fault the view. The room was lovely if a bit tired in parts but none the less what a superb location . The care and kindness we received in the bar area for drinks and then subsequently supper was excellent as we had a dog and couldn’t go into the restaurant. Reception were very Curtis for check in and departure. We hear room 113 is the one to have as fully refurbished ! "
