The Beach at Bude

The Beach at Bude

10/10 Excellent
"We had the most wonderful stay at Bude on the Beach while celebrating our anniversary. We were so pleased to be surprised with a room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. When we got to our room, we found a lovely handwritten anniversary note waiting for us – such a thoughtful gesture that really made us smile. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. Every single person we spoke to was warm, friendly and genuinely helpful, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. It’s those little touches and the excellent service that really set this hotel apart. The location is unbeatable, with beautiful sea views and just a short walk to everything Bude has to offer. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a few days away. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay and we left already talking about when we would return. Thank you to everyone at Bude on the Beach for making our anniversary so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!"

Ilfracombe Carlton Hotel - Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"On a golfing trip with mates who stayed at other local venues. I hit the jackpot. The Carlton is in a great location, it’s refurbished, it’s very clean, comfortable, the staff were great, excellent breakfast and would definitely go back. Only downsides were, very hot in the room and parking at venue but plenty of parking up the hill."

The Old Wainhouse

The Old Wainhouse

8/10 Good
"The room was fine, although for some reason there weren't any hangers in the wardrobe. I was thankful for ice from the bar downstairs (it was another very hot day), and also for the quiet neighbourhood. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again."
