"The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town...

"Our reservation was cancelled less than 24 hours before our stay. Had to sleep in our car. Red roof inn had overbooked so they cancelled all 3rd party reservations. We'll never book a stay there again. Not a smart business move."
