"We are senior citizens so the electronic entry system via an app was a challenge but with help we got it to work. The property advertises itself as a Hen and Stag Party venue but that never appeared as part of the information on the Hotels.com website or we wouldn't have bookrd it!
Given that this was their business model I'm not surprised that the place wasn't as clean as my wife would have liked and it was very noisy on the Saturday night.

"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "

"Great hotel with comfortable spacious room. A little out of the town centre with not much in the way of entertainment or restaurants nearby. Nice food and pleasant staff."
"Breakfast was great. Good mix of healthy and traditional options.
Room was nice with good view across the Mersey.
All staff were very friendly and helpful. "
"Usually stay midweek when rates are lower; for the price, compared to other L.pool hotels, it is remarkable value: for a high quality stay.Little touches like a fridge and big bath towels. The staff are great, always very nice in an uncontrived, unforced way"
"Simply superior hotel experience in a location adjacent to the train station in magical Liverpool. Lobby is just SO cool. Staff was exceedingly helpful in that we had an extra person join us and needed a cot. Attached restaurant very good. Only negative is that there's not a lot of dining or drinks nearby."
"We had a lovely time, thanks to the amazing and very helpful staff. The stunning room and comfy bed truly made our stay special. We also enjoyed the spa. Thank you."
