Family trip with 2 pups

We had a great time at Ooo Laa Laaah. The main reason we booked was because of the fenced in back yard for our 2 dogs. It was a great area. Access to beach was too easy, just a block away and with a vehicle beach access, there was no need to climb dunes or walk on the boardwalks. No issues at the house. It had everything we needed. Large/Long driveway.

Great Vacation

Wonderful place to stay

Wonderful location!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The location was so close to the beach. It had everything we needed for a pleasant few days. The check in process was so easy and the house was easy to locate, thanks to Martie’s great directions. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful getaway!

Everything from booking online to the stay went smoothly. We brought our little dog with us and the fenced in backyard was wonderful for him. Great location - so close to beach.

Oooh La La is lovely

We have stayed at this property before. We love the small yard for our dogs. It is very convenient to the beach and not too far into Saint Augustine itself. It is very clean and comfortably furnished.

Winter getaway

We were thrilled with the house itself and were pleased that it was so close to the beach. We had everything we needed right there and happily spent our time walking on the beach and playing in the yard with the dog. The owner was a great host & has thought through everything.

Sister's St. Augustine adventure

Absolutely perfect for a sister's get away. Walking distance to the beach and a short distance to shops, restaurants or anything else you wanted to do. We enjoyed local thrift stores, near by restaurants, shops walks and even drove our jeep on the beach. The bungalow had everything we needed to relax and make new memories.

Loved the house and closeness to beach. Fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. Martie was easy to work with and gives a detailed list of information about house, places to eat and things to see and do in area. We plan to return next year.

Perfect beach cottage

Five stars. The Ooo la Laah exceeded all my expectations. I stayed eight days to explore the beach and the St. augustine area, and this cottage was the ideal spot. The backyard area was fenced for my little dog, and the inside was super comfortable, well stocked with necessities, and was sparkling clean. Steps to the beach without having to deal with a main road was a big plus. I am already looking forward to booking again for next winter. Martie was a great host and a good communicator. She has anticipated any need that a guest could have, and the cottage is set up accordingly.

RELAX at the BEACH!!

I am so happy we found Ooo Laaah. We & our fur baby are Sr. Citizens. This was the most cozy, relaxing place we have ever stayed!! So easy for us to get everything to the beach with our 4x4, beach time for hours. Close to stores, restaurants, shops, St. Augustine, everything nearby. A cozy backyard for sitting, reading & our fur baby. The ambience of this house is over the top. Martie made sure everything was great, she is an awesome host. Just respect the property. We hope to see you again soon Martie! Thank you so much for a very relaxing vacation.

good spot

This was a rental in December 2015. This is very close to an expansive beach, excellent for walking. The back yard is good for your pet, as the pet wasn't able to escape. Cookware was more than adequate, property overall was clean. If the Crescent Moon unit in front is occupied parking gets to be a little compact, but the driveway was kept clear and we were able to come and go without any trouble. The temperature was in the 80's everyday and the central air worked well. The only difficulty was that the windows were difficult to open for fresh air, but I would rent this again. Washington Oaks Gardens state park looks very nice at Christmastime, visit if you can. LaStrada Restaurant worked well for us.

Best week at the beach

This was a last minute trip for my family and Martie was quick to respond and get us booked. The location is perfect. It's a short walk to the beach (less than a block) so it's easy to grab your beach chairs and enjoy the surf. We would spend a couple hours on the beach, do some sight seeing and then come back and enjoy nightly walks on the beach. Getting up to see the sunrise is a must. The area is very quiet. No hotels anywhere just condo's, duplexes and private homes. It's very dog friendly including the beach. The surf shops are within 2-3 miles and the historic area of St. Augustine is 20 minutes away. The house itself was cute and very comfortable for four of us and a dog. The kitchen is well equipped so we didn't have to eat out much. The backyard is large enough to allow our dog to roam and chase the lizards. Martie was quick to respond to any questions. We plan to come back again.

As always, a five star stay at this property! This was our fifth year staying with Martie in Butler Beach. In the past we’ve stayed at the front cottage (see the Crescent Moon) but we loved the additional space of the Ooo Laa Laaa this year. You can’t beat the location! A two minute stroll to a pristine beach with the softest sand. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. Super close to the stores and restaurants of Anastasia Island and a quick drive to historic downtown. The house is immaculately clean. They are very welcoming of pets and walking in you’d never know. I was even down on the floor looking for something under the couch, with my nose thisclose to the carpet and there is zero pet smell. Martie, your cleaning team is top notch. The house is so well stocked. You literally just have to show up and buy some groceries. She’s thought of everything.The backyard is also immaculate. We enjoyed the space in the backyard and nightly smores in the fire pit. We can’t wait to be back next summer!
