Our flight was canceled after hours of delays, and we were unable to get to Orlando at all. We contacted the hotel immediately after returning home and have proof of that. Despite this, the hotel labeled us a “no-show” and kept the entire $1,700—refusing even a partial refund. There was zero flexibility, zero empathy, and no attempt to work toward a fair solution. Most hotels would charge one night in a situation like this. Charging the full stay feels like taking advantage of the situation. Be aware: if anything goes wrong with your travel, you may be out the full cost of your stay—no matter the circumstances.

We had numerous problems with our key cards not working. The staff did not do much to correct the issue. The rooms and pool were fine but I will not be staying there again.

Room had roaches. Immediately had to check out. The towels people use were outside in a bin. It smells awful outside and in the rooms. This is a motel with a nice pool. Literally

The room was very clean. The staff was tremendous. They were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was kept very clean. The food available at the food court was just okay. The food was edible and very expensive. Did not like paying for parking. It is expensive to stay and eat there; and charging for parking is over the top and insulting.

Clean room but small. There was no option for body wash and just a small zest bar. I know there was a 50s type them but the V05 shampoo was zest bars was looking cheap. They had one pillow per person and the mattress was old . I woke up with my back aching. The walls were thin so I woke up several times at night due to some cackling female next door to where I can hear her thru the walls. I was highly disappointed in the hotel universal offers. This was my first and last time staying at universal owned property . The front desk man was very nice but he upgraded me for free to a view of volcano bay. Only to find out I was in a room next to last at the end of the entire building . So I had a long walk to main lobby and pool etc.
