This was a lovely place to stay, they couldn't do enough for you, very friendly & helpful, I needed 2 rooms where there wasn't to much walking to get to, due to both parties having breathing difficulties, they were so very helpful & replied telling me we have both rooms on the ground floor & would be able to have our breakfast brought to us on the same floor, you wouldn't get that else where, just a nice clean lovely place to stay, the food was lovely evening meal & then breakfast, we all said we would like to go back & stay longer, sadly this wasn't a holiday stay this time, here for a family funeral memorial, looking forward to coming back next year in the warmer weather 10/10 Thank you all

Lovely clean, well situated, friendly hotel
The hotel is spotlessly clean. Also, hand sanitisers were placed at several points around the hotel. We only had an overnight stay, so our fairly small room was perfectly adequate - there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We might ask for a larger room if we were staying for longer. The hotel is a lovely friendly place to stay. It's very best points are its location and the - overlooking the sea, lovely walks nearby and a 1 minute walk to the lift down to the beach. Also, the food at the hotel is excellent - we had a delicious, reasonably priced dinner there. We saw that there was car parking, but if you arrive by public transport, the bus station is only a 10 minute walk.

Gem of a Hotel, Dog Friendly, Value for Money
Gem of a hotel! Positioned right above Shanklin Beach, wirh either a 10 minute walk (which i did everyday with my dog), or there's a lift literally a minute away, going straight down to the beach. The staff were fantaatic, really friendly, and couldnt do enough for you... sure, the hotel itself is a little dated, bur it's obviously been decorated, but coylddo with a much bigger makeover, but these thibgs cost a lot of money, and it's kept lovely and clean. My reason for booking was because they take dogs, and I was bring mine with me. I took a single room, which had its own shower room and toilet, and whilst it wasn't particularly big, it was clean, functional and had everything I needed.

Really enjoyable stay with very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Only criticism is that it was difficult to get hot water in the bathroom.

Very welcoming and relaxing staff friendly and eager to please. Extremely pet friendly. No lifts so people with limited mobility need to be aware although staff are happy to assist with luggage and arrangements for dining.

Great staff. Exceptionally clean hotel
Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel well situated on cliff top but very short walk to the lift that takes you down to the beach. Food is good well cooked and breakfast was excellent. Big shout out tho for how clean everything was.

Nice little hotel with nice view
I stayed in a single room for one night as was visiting the local theatre, room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean,staff were very nice and food was lovely. Great location on cliff top with great view.

Great discovery
We had a great visit here, lovely location and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming and very happy to help where needed. Breakfast amazing, food in the evening very good value and quality. First visit to this hotel and certainly not the last. Our rooms were a little small but well decorated, en-suite and ours had a little balcony as well.

This hotel is basic and to the point, cheap and cheerful with the most amazing staff i have ever met. They go over and beyond to help and assist. The location is amazing, so close to the beach, local shops and transport. I would stay here again anytime.

Very nice hotel
We stayed for 2 nights in a Seaview room with a balcony. The room was small, but very comfortable and the balcony was large with a table and chairs. Very pleasant especially in the morning. Excellent cooked breakfast. The only negative was a very low pressure shower. The first morning it did not work at all, and even after it was fixed it was still just very poor water flow. Good location on the cliff top. Walking distance to the beach or town. Evening food stops at 7pm. We would have liked to eat there had it been later. I would have given a higher rating if the shower was better, and if the restaurant opened later.

Staff are amazing . The view from the bar is incredible. The bar prices and food good. Never recommend a hotel this much before. Right next to the lift to shanklin beach. No lift but there are some rooms on the ground floor.

Our Experience
The hotel was in a good, quiet location, within a few minutes walk from the beach, even though it was up/down a steep incline. The Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and reasonably well maintained. Breakfasts were very good with a good choice. The downsides were that the room and in particular the ensuite bathroom was very small and the water pressure was almost non-existent, especially for the first few minutes after the shower was turned on. ( but the water when it eventually arrived was hot enough )

Nice stay
All of the staff we encountered were lovely and the service was really good. The hotel does only have stairs to the upper floor so anyone with any mobility issue should request ground floor. Breakfast was good with two sittings. I don't know whether that is just a Covid thing and whether there is more flexibility at other times. Food is served in the evening until 7pm. The room did seem a little dated but had everything we needed.

A most enjoyable stay was had here. Very friendly and helpful staff .Clean and comfortable room. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.
