"If there are serious renovations happening it would be nice to know in advance. Although on arrival staff promised work would not start until 8am we were woken at 6:50 by the workmen emptying a skip right outside our window."

"the hotel staff here was incredible. we get there to check our bags in and it was the kindest group of people. and my travel partner had a small medical issue and the staff went above and beyond to provide some medical supplies. the kindest and most wonderful people work at this hotel. the room was great. i cannot wait to stay here again. everyone from the bartenders to the room service staff? all incredible. i had a wonder stay here. "I thought the staff was excellent. I was particularly impressed with Saish, the restaurant- manager in the evening. We ate most dinners at the hotel. Saish was helpful and knowledgeable about the city and the attractions and provided us with a unique insight into places to visit and how to best reach the different destinations over our five night stay. "Great hotel in a great location. We had a really good price for the room as well. The decor of our room was a bit dated but nothing to complain as it was clean and comfortable for a family of 3. The staff were really lovely as well ad gave us vouchers for the bar. My partner does not like lifts and the stairs are a bit hard to find but we were on one of the lower floors so didn't affect us. Would recommend and return (requesting a floor on a lower floor!)"
