Nestled in the pristine nature of Swale Canyon our a-frame offers a tranquil getaway. Whether you need some quiet time to reflect, write and ponder nature's beauty or you need a place to lay your head after an active day on the Klickitat River or hiking the Klickitat Trail or hunting in the wilderness, our cabin awaits you. No other buildings or residences in sight, you will have true privacy to relax and unwind.
Our a-frame cottage is a work of love that we hope you will enjoy. Many hands have worked on this project. Practically all of the materials have been reclaimed. The entire cottage is fed by a year-round artesian spring. Power is provided by solar. You can lounge by the creek or hike the two miles of private trails here or the hundreds of acres of public land abutting our property or cross the creek and find yourself on the many miles of the Klickitat Trail. The primary residence is located nearly a 1/4 mile from your lodging. We are available if you walk up the hill or by walkie-talkie (no phone coverage here!).
