Lovely comfortable room, loved the elegant but cosy dining/ pub area - fabulous food including breakfast ( the kedgeree the best I have ever had ) and the staff were absolutely lovely - friendly professional and super kind and helpful
We had 4 rooms and I have some picky friends - they were all raving about how lovely it was

The property was booked just for one night based on location, price and restaurant/bar. A friend was meeting me early the next day and I asked he be directed upstairs. All fine with that but the information was not written in the book as promised so we had to jump through a few more hoops than we thought. But it all got sorted and staff only ever had my safety and protection in mind so can't complain about that. Would definitely stay there again if heading up to Scotland or the Lake District...
