"This was an amazing retreat for the weekend. Hospitality was off the charts and the breakfast was thoughtful and delicious. The property is breathtaking and close to everything we needed. "We just needed a place to stay while going out on adventures each day. This place was perfect. Small, clean, just what we needed. The only negative thing would be the parking. "It was a great neighborhood and quiet. The game room was amazing and loved by all. The kids loved the decor. Also has an outside space to eat if you are a group of 6. We had a few ants in the kitchen on the 2nd day but had bug spray under the kitchen sink that did away with them. Overall we enjoyed the stay at the getaway and the kids loved it too. The hosts were also available to contact if needed. Very accessible to places we wanted to go. 5 stars ."

"I love historic older buildings! The suite we paid for was more spacious than the photos showed. There were a few things about the cleanliness of the room like there was toothpaste on the wall and mirror from previous guests and also what looked like rubber glue. Also previous guests left sticky pancake syrup on one of the chairs when I sat down. Warm water got it right out of the chair with no staining but my pants were an issue. The towels in the room and the pool had a funky odor and the pool had several bandaids in it. The pool area was beautiful probably spent most of our time there. The breakfast had many hot and cold and hot options! Ate there each morning of our stay. Despite the negatives we'll likely be back due to the staff's over the top service, they were polite, quick, and catered to everything we needed which wasn't necessary but made our stay relaxed and easy!!! Thank you!!"
