"Everything was good, had all the amenities we were looking for. Only thing that was a little annoying was the water pressure in the shower was really bad and the curtain didn’t stop much of the splash so the floor got soaked in the bathroom. Also the shower head didn’t attach to the wall so we had to hold it by hand. Everything other than the shower was great, though."

"The Hidden Gem flat in Alfama was perfect for us. Small, but not cramped, bright and airy, and exceptionally clean. The bonus was a washing machine. It was walkable to most areas and surrounded by lovely restaurants and Fado clubs. We had a few communication glitches, but all was resolved by check-in time. I would definitely recommend the Hidden Gem in Alfama to family and friends."

"Like most European accommodations, stairs are involved. Good way to work off dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast each morning included with the stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Sink was provided in the room but bathroom and shower were down the hall. Bathrooms were immaculate, great showers. Loved the location. It was close to what we wanted to see."
