"It was settled in right next to the Mistico Hanging Bridges, super cool rainforest location. The breakfast had a wide range of fruit and choices. Ate in the restaurant for two dinners and the food wasn’t cheap but decent value given the quality. The rooms were nice with a balcony that opened up looking at the Arena Volcano with no end to f birds ripping around. Loved our stay"

"The location of El Secreto was amazing. Very walkable to downtown La Fortuna so plenty of food options. Uber is very active here so it was easy to get around town and to various tours. Breakfast each morning was tasty and they allowed for some substitutions. Plus was that they had AC as well which helped with the hot, humid weather. We enjoyed the pools as well! "

"The thermal pools were amazing, the staff was friendly and attentive, beds were comfortable and the included breakfast buffet was fantastic. Our jr suite, which was room 222 had an epic view of the volcano, and we so so many birds right from our roon. WiFi was terrible, and the jr suite which we stayed in was dated, and had a vanity with a terrible stool instead of a desk, which would have been ideal."

"pools were very nice and easy to get around. if you get put at the top of the property the shuttle can be a bit of a nuisance, leaving the pools we would just go to reception to ask for the shuttle back up to our room. "
