There were two couples in our party so we only used the two bedrooms with King beds, but there was plenty of room for another adult couple or a few young children. "We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended."

It is a vacation home so there are some things that could be improved for maximum comfort and convenience i.e. hooks in the bathrooms for hanging towels, even a couple of hooks in the bedrooms for hanging hat or towels. "We were amazed at the sounds and sights while staying here! So many birds, monkeys and even an otter came to visit the pond! It was fun playing in the pool and the rain! Not too far from La Fortuna and small convenience shops at the end of the road. The kitchen isn’t really suitable for cooking for a family and isn’t very well equipped so probably best to eat out or make snacks only. The AC worked well and we enjoyed our stay here! Upon arrival Carlos metvus and even guided us to the property. We then booked all of our excursions with the same company and saved a ton. We are already looking to come back next year and do some different adventures!"

"We had a great stay at the property. Nice neighborhood and good views. A fun pool and great dining room table. Could have used more kitchen items when cooking for a large group like measuring cups, measuring spoons, whisk, spatula, serving plates or bowls. Also a surprise on day one - the oven didn’t work. Also would have really appreciated being able to use the laundry machines that are on-site but not available for guests to use. Overall we had a wonderful stay!"

"I love the brand new building and all the hanging plants around the balcony was pretty. The kitchen had all ample utensils for cooking. The bathroom was beautifully put together. Not 1 bug got in the whole week I was there which for me made for a good nights sleep. There are 2 dogs next door that bark but its not too bad. Honestly I came to realize that I like those dogs barking some to keep bad people away even though the property is gated. I always bring ear puddy on my vacations anyway I find...
