"Awesome place to stay...amazing view...decent breakfast...wonderful room service....beautiful little ciffee shop attached to hotel. Would stay here again"
"I loved the mountain hiking we could walk right up to from our porch. We got to explore the mountain without an exact trail, and it was easy to find our way back to camp. I also loved that there was a gas stove, a gas grill, charcoal grill, campfire pit with an affixed grill, and a gas fire pit...so many options for cooking and sitting by a fire to make staying out in nature easier and more relaxing. Also the campground was quiet and clean. We used this as a hotel in nature rather than...
"We enjoyed our stay at the Amigo Motor Lodge. Their staff was friendly, check in and out were seamless, and the rooms were clean and aesthetically pleasing. "

"The hot spring pools were very clean, and had a lot of variety, including adults only pools. Dinner in the dining room was good, but not spectacular (next time we'll drive into Buena Vista for dinner). Well worth the stay and a good value because of the fantastic hot springs."

"I hope the owner and future visitors continue to take care of this beautiful property so we can all visit this lovely home for years to come. The home is beautiful, tastefully decorated in a way that honors the history and architecture. It had everything we needed; plenty of pillows, soft beds & blankets, seating areas with beautiful views. My partner and I enjoyed bird watching from the deck and windows and listening to the sounds of the rain on the roof. The pool was so clean and relaxing, I spent hours in it. We wanted to treat ourselves to a little getaway for our mental health and it was so peaceful and quiet, we read our books and crocheted. I'd love to come back to this rental in the future with friends and family. The home does not offer much privacy from other guests due to the architecture, but the owner is very forthcoming with that info in the listing. The owner was quick to respond to messages. "
"The house was very comfortable w/ plenty of space to accommodate gathering and privacy. The kitchen functioned beautifully w/ a well stocked walk in pantry. The house has the Chalk Mountain that sets the mountain tone of beauty and inspiration"

"This is our second time staying at this property and it was every bit as wonderful as we remembered! We came up for the 4th of July weekend to get away from all the crazy fireworks and loud noises in our neighborhood, and the peace and the quiet were exactly what the doctor ordered! Loved being able to sit Down by the River on the sSwing, or up on the deck and watch the hummingbirds! The beds were comfy, the shower hot, and the cabin had everything we could need! This is the place to come when you need peace and quiet and to be able to connect with nature! Town is a little bit of a drive away, but that's okay, and if anybody was interested in being social for the 4th of july, Buena Vista throws a great party! The best part was being able to bring our fur babies a long, it is so hard to leave them at home when we go on our little trips, and we really appreciate the owners willingness to accommodate them!"
"The balcony view was beautiful. It's open, making it easy to connect with other guests. The space is quiet, clean, and faces the mountains at the back of the property. We especially enjoyed watching the many hummingbirds at the active feeders.
One downside is that there's no way to control the temperature in the room. One of us slept well, while the other woke up feeling hot. If you prefer a cooler sleeping environment, consider bringing a portable fan—and don’t forget an extension cord.
Overall, we would definitely stay here again."
"This property was better in person than the listing! Had a little of everything!...from the views, the beautiful setting by the creek, wildlife to the convenient location to hiking, Salida and Buena Vista! Perfect location for a week with our family!!"
