The staff was helpful and polite. The lobby itself feels a too empty with random people hanging out at the shared working space. It doesn't have the feel of a Hilton Hotel lounge. The rooms were very practical and in great condition. The app working the doors and elevator was cool. The area is noisy, even at the 18th floor where I was sirens and trucks backing up are heard loudly. The area surrounding the hotel was perhaps the low point. Specially Portsmouth Square right across the street from the hotel's entrance where drugged out homeless people where a constant fixture day and night.

I had a do not disturb sign on my door and the maid went in! I then called the front desk- I don’t like anyone in the room until I check out. They then told them not to come in/ but the sign in the door should be enough! I was pit next to some kind of workroom- constant noise and banging? The hotel dud not seem booked- why was I out in that room?
