"Room was dirty especially the pull out couch it had bed bugs and matress had a lot of stains and they didn’t have sheets on it and the tub was full of mildew and me and my kids woke up with bug bites. Kitchen sink was dirty also when water was coming out"

"Exceptional Stay – Truly One of the Best Hotel Experiences! I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Central and I can honestly say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This place really exceeded my expectations in every way. First off, the staff was absolutely incredible. This is what stood out the most to me—every single person we encountered was genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their guests. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or breakfast staff, everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. That level of consistency is rare and made a huge difference in our stay. The rooms were also fantastic—very clean, fresh, and well-maintained. Everything felt updated and comfortable, and it was clear that cleanliness is a top priority here. It made it easy to relax and feel at home. The property itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The courtyard area is especially impressive—it creates a really relaxing and inviting atmosphere. There are two large fire pit tables that are perfect for hanging out in the evening, along with a fun mini golf area and a table with Jenga for a little extra entertainment. They also have two BBQ grills available, which is a great touch if you want to cook and enjoy the outdoor space. The pool and hot tub area were also very nice—clean, spacious, and perfect"

"I did not utilize the hotel amenities during this stay. The lobby was clean and presentable. My queen sweet was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bedding was crisp and clean, promoting a good night's sleep. The breakfast was suitable, the coffee was fresh. I would like to see the breakfast times extend, times are currently 0630-0830. If the breakfast times could be extended until 0930, that would be ideal and flexible for more guests. I will definitely recommend this hotel and being staying there in the future. "
