"Perfect location in the centre of Halls Gap, abutting the main entertainment area. Clean unit; however, some minor maintenance issues: the lights over the spare did not work, and the Gas heater was disabled."

"The property has everything needed for two people to enjoy a wonderful break.The location is ideal allowing a leisurely walk to the local shops, food options etc.The property allows you to be self sufficient if you want, just hiding away from the World and enjoying the peace and quiet.Wifi was very handy when required.Easy process from start to finish.Close to all the walks and other activities to do."
Wattletree Cottage Halls Gap

"We had a lovely stay at Wattletree cottage. Beautiful morning sunlight through the east facing lounge and master bedroom was an amazing way to start each day. Surrounded by flowering wattle and stunning bird life we were able to recharge and relax. Will be back again. Thanks Jenny."

"The cabin is in a great location in Halls Gap. The cabin was nice and clean and it’s great that it’s pet friendly, but it’s very tired looking and old inside and definitely needs renovating. Expensive for what it currently is."

"The cockatoos are definitely the highlight, but they're very loud when they all start squawking, and they can be greedy & a little bossy with one another with food, but what surprised me the most when feeding them, was witnessing both the male & female resident magpies, (at separate times) swooping and pecking the cockatoos when they wanted their share of the food. The cockatoos were afraid of them.When we'd arrived, we were greeted by a very large kangaroo, in the dark, which was a little scary when he just stared at us, but he soon hopped away when he realised we weren't a threat.The host supplies everything you need for your stay, which I thought was very thoughtful, and I've stayed in a lot of airbnb's, motels & a few tiny homes over the years, and there was always something essential that they'd not supplied - so you won't be disappointed with this one.The shower is fantastic and the sheets, bedding & towels are perfect.The neighbours across the road are a little weird.The only things I think could improve is the beds, as they seem a bit old and worn (of course the mattress pillow toppers help.) A warning as to the cockatoos, how they can bite your finger hard, (for those families with kids) when giving them food. Better lighting, or some solar lights along the driveway, as it's very dark at night when the outside light hasn't been turned on. A grassed area out back instead of the stones and rocks."
