Reqlly nice enjoyed stay, need more light at the sign as ots very hard to find at night in the rain in the very dark.
Perhaps fix the top of the drive up a bit as its a pretty steep bump.
Small token of chocolate and port was a nice touch but perhaps reserch your demographic of who is actually staying. We didnt deink the port but local wine would have been a better option

Melbourne is generally safe. This hotel is in a shady part of town. Arguments on street at night. AC/heater did not work, so they sent up a portable one that worked fine. There is no sin on the street; after five minutes of walking past it many times, we asked locals, and they pointed far up to a YEHS sign.

Tram stop out the front. Woolworths across the street. Great pub for dinner at tap86.
Apartment was clean, quiet, easy to access.

My only complaint about this hotel is the non working lift and the bottleneck at reception on the Mezzanine level. Took so long for the one working lift, right near the reception desk. This is also right near the breakfast area. Very congested and uncomfortable. The hotel and staff were wonderful. I think fixing the elevators should be a priority.

We were almost going to cancel our trip due to severely cold wet weather forecast for the long weekend but we had come from NW WA to visit the Casterton Kelpie Muster and decided to continue.
