"The small town of Marseillette was perfectly located for us to explore the Minervois wine region, the City of Carcassone, and the Canal Midi. It was a pleasure to return home at the end of every day to relax on the sunny terrace with a glass of wine, and contemplate the outstanding view of the lovely French countryside. The home was comfortable, nicely furnished with all the amenities we expect from a high end rental, and our hostess was exceptional. Highly recommended."

"Lovely stay in Bize. House charming with beautiful rooms. Garden was the star as it had just the right mix of shade and sun as well as the petanque area. We spent most of our time in the kitchen and garden enjoying the wonderful weather and the superb local produce. The house needs a bit of TLC as the toilet was leaking and did not flush properly when we arrived. (the owner sorted for us on the second day). The plugs in the bathroom sinks did not work either. "Het huis is ruim. De bedden zijn fijn. Er zijn voldoende badkamers. Twee badkamers zijn klein, maar verder prima. De keuken is goed voorzien. "This is our second stay as we liked it so much last time we had to stay again. David is the perfect host, incredibly helpful and always available to answer any questions by email or text. The property is spacious, spotlessly clean, with a great private terrace, beautiful terraced gardens almost up to the Cite walls and the views are breathtaking. "Very enjoyable house 15 minutes away from Carcassonne. As described plus there was a high chair which was needed for us. There is a quiet public playground right around the corner."

"We stayed one night. In 350 meters you can be in the medieval city. Travel 50 meters down the hill, turn on the path and you are there. Such a perfect location. Paul was great and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely dinner at the Sarl le Creneau and saw Remparts et Lumieres at night. We had a wonderful day exploring the village during the day. We would definitely come back and stay again."

"The property is typical french quirky and generally enjoyable - since the house is 17th century we can forgive the dim lights and basic electrics. The sewage issue (day 2) was sorted very quickly - this can happen anytime and communications with the manager were very quick. The excellent Comptoir restaurant next door (book ahead) is a real bonus and the boulangerie and convenience store were great too.
