"The staff at the reception is nice and cordial. The property is old but spacious. Our room is without view but close to the kitchen. There is a wonderful cafe house neighboring the hotel and in the morning it is full of customers and you can get a sense of community. Riverside boardwalk under the hotel building is an additional advantage to this property. "

"Spent a week with Family at Toogoom retreat. Plenty of space for all of us to spend time together or have some chill out time. Everything you could possibly need is provided at the house which was fantastic. They even catered for the little ones (high chair, portacot, cutlery etc). The mosquitoes and sand flies are relentless during early morning and late afternoon (not just by the water but around the outside of the house as well) so make sure you take plenty of Bushman’s and mosquito coils. "
