"Absolutely divine! I was looking for a peaceful writing retreat and that's exactly what I got! The history of the cottage was what drew me in but the way it has been lovingly restored was gorgeous. The heated bathroom floor and beautiful claw foot bath were amazing. The bed extremely comfortable and the fire was very much used on the chilly nights. A well equipped kitchen.The gardens were beautiful and peaceful to walk around and sitting in the afternoon winter sun was magic. The perfect, peaceful getaway! Highly recommend!"

"I feel lucky to have found this hotel. Check in was a breeze with a code - perfect as I arrived very late after a long drive. Parking was right out front and it’s a very well laid out hotel, all rooms I saw were ground floor so perfect for anyone with mobility issues or just tired from a long day and lugging bags inside. The room was clean and warm. The best find for me was the restaurant - cosy and warm, a wide menu, friendly and efficient staff .. a real pleasure with the gas fire place and large windows. "
