"Keepers cottage was lovely. It is absolutely ideal if you have dogs. There is a large enclosed area where your dogs can run plus there are spacious kennels if you need to go out and leave your dogs. We didnt use this as we took our dogs with us but it was great to have this option. The bedroom, toilet, shower room was downstairs and the living room was up the stairs. There was a lovely balcony leading off from the living room where you could enjoy the views, unfortunately we didnt get much use...

"There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. There were no teaspoons. No hand towels anywhere and the bed springs had gone in 2 beds. The sheets were so old they were rough and bobbly. "We had such a great time at Bailiff's Cottage! It was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Cornwall. Fantastic location in the countryside right next to a livestock farm which gave our stay a lovely touch. It was great preparing our meals watching grazing animals right outside the kitchen window! "We had a very relaxing week at this comfortable and well-equipped house. The highlight for us was being able to walk out onto the balcony each morning and evening and enjoy the beautiful view over the river. It was the perfect base for getting around this part of Cornwall. We particularly enjoyed the cycle ride to Padstow - a lovely journey, and with the changing tides there was a different view each way. We look forward to staying here again in the future."

"Had a fab stay in bungalow 69 Great location for our holiday plans We went out of school term so it was very quiet too... Very compact inside but it had everything we needed We didnt use the passes that were there or facilities for Hengar manor but a nice option if needed Only improving thing i would suggest is the bungalow number "69" is moved to a more prominent position as its tucked away high and not easy to see above a hugh bush too .. "The property is in a good location but there is no car park available around, the designated car park communicated on the adjacent street was always occupied and therefore it should be advertise as no parking options. We drove around looking for space every evening, free parking advertised is misleading. The accommodation was very clean and well presented."

"The property itself was quite presentable. Although all of the doors stuck. There were lots of amenities at the property. I think a family of 4 with dogs might be a little cramped. The property is literally in the middle of nowhere, so a vehicle is a must. If the farmer had no dogs himself I would return. But the dogs howled & cried a lot because of separation & boredom. This actually upset me.The communication with the owner was very good."

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "
